Moncton 106-96 Island

The Moncton Miracles won their third straight game on Sunday thanks to a dominant 106-96 victory at home to the Island Storm.

After taking a 28-14 lead through the first quarter, Moncton's offense never looked back, eventually shooting 51% from the floor in the game.

The Storm's Brent Jennings led the game with 25pts. Dexter Strickland had another solid outing for the Miracles, posting 24pts and 6ast.

Moncton (14-8) will take on the Hurricanes in Halifax on Wednesday. The Storm (9-15) are set to play in Saint John on Sunday.

Orangeville 106-104 Windsor

The Orangeville A's completed an impressive weekend series on Sunday by squeaking past the Windsor Express 106-104 at home.

Chris Thomas' men, who ended a nine-game losing streak on Saturday against London, survived a late fourth quarter push by the Express, who missed three straight shots to end the game.

The result gives Orangeville back-to-back wins for the first time since Feb. 5.

Justin Moss had 22pts and 11 rebounds for the A's. Shaq Keith and Brandon Robinson put up 21pts each for the Express, who are now 13-12.

Windsor is set to play the River Lions in St. Catherines on Wednesday. Orangeville (7-15) is set to take on the Express in Windsor on Friday.
